What does it mean that we are a "Strategic Partner" of Northpoint Ministries?
North Point Ministries is the parent organization of which North Point Community Church, Browns Bridge and Buckhead Church are a part. Access is a strategic partner with North Point Ministries. That means that we have the same mission, strategy, values, and beliefs as North Point Ministries, but we are a separate entity. You can find out more about North Point Ministries here.

Is this a video church?
Most Sundays, we will share the teaching staff with North Point Community Church via delayed video. These messages will primarily be delivered by Andy Stanley in a way that engages Christians and skeptics both. At other times, Access staff will deliver the message. Other aspects of the worship service, such as music and announcements, will be live at every service. Staff members are local and committed to the Jacksonville community.

What is the leadership
structure?
Currently, we have a steering team that is providing guidance and direction to the staff of Access. These are trusted volunteers from North Point Ministries who have donated their time and life experience to provide wisdom as Access gets started.
Church government at Access is guarded by the elders, guided by the staff, and gifted through the membership. However, in more specific terms, the Access Church government is built around the lead pastor and four teams of people:
Ministry Team Representatives Stewardship Team Staff Leadership Team Elders
These teams will develop as the church grows and, over time, leadership will transition from our steering team to a local body of elders.

What is the discipleship model at Access Church?
The mission of Access Church is to lead people
into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We feel that this growth is sustained best
in a small group environment. There are several
reasons why we have chosen community groups
as our primary relational structure. First,
adults are available on Sunday mornings to participate in strategic service. We have
also found that meeting in a home is a safe,
predictable environment where no one slips
through the cracks. True accountability can
be reached with a consistent group of people
in a community group. Lastly, people are able
to benefit from the encouragement and accountability
of a small group while still being part of
our invest and invite evangelism strategy.

How can I become
a member?
We are currently developing a plan for membership.
We hope to offer this sometime in 2008.

How can I be baptized?
We will be baptizing adults at Access Church
in the near future. If you have trusted Christ
as your Savior and would like to be baptized
please contact webrequest@accesschurch.org.
We will also be baptizing children/teenagers
in the near future at a special service. If
you have children who have trusted Christ
as their Savior and would like to be baptized
please contact webrequest@accesschurch.org.

What is the financial
situation?
The startup funds for Access have come initially from individuals in the Jacksonville area with a desire to reach their community with the hope of Jesus Christ. In addition, North Point Ministries has graciously offered to partner with us in the early life of this new church. Click here to see our current financial status and partner with us financially.
